An Introduction to the Descendants of  Peter Hitt 1714 immigrant
to America And their Allied Famlies. Here I Hope You will see the
Legacy of Peter Hitt and Your Heritage.

Peter Hitt 1683-1772 of Germanna, Virginia who was a 1714 immigrant to America. Born near Siegen-Nassau, Germany is my HITT ancestor. He immigrated with a number of other German immigrants to Virginia in 1714. There is some controversy as to his origin and who he was married to. The author of this page takes the position that Peter Hitt and Peter Heite are the same person and the mother of his children was Elizabeth Otterback/Utterback she was his second wife.
What we can know for sure is that Peter Hitt did immigrate to Virginia in 1714 and did have a wife named Elizabeth who was the mother of his children.
